FFDE's are conducted using the IACP's Fitness-for-Duty Guidelines.
Pre-Employment Psychological Evaluations (PEPE)- A standardized assessment conducted prior to hiring to determine whether a candidate is psychologically suited for a position, commonly required for law enforcement, fire, and other public safety roles. Impaired Professionals Evaluations- A specialized evaluation for licensed professionals, such as nurses or other healthcare workers, who have been referred by a licensing board due to concerns about impairment, fitness to practice, or professional conduct. These evaluations help determine whether a professional is safe to return to practice.
